Furious Spoon Ramen Shop is located in Logan Square at 2410 N. Milwaukee, Chicago, IL 60647. We have other locations in Wicker Park and the Loop, but those locations do not offer noodle-making classes yet.
Furious Spoon gives Chicagoans a chance to encounter a more traditional ramen experience with chef-driven food in a fast casual setting. Similar to Japanese ramen shops, customers order and pay at the counter, receive a number and their ramen comes to their table. Guests can even grab a seat at the ramen bar, a bar facing the open kitchen, and watch as their bowls are prepared. Furious Spoon offers authentic flavors with plenty of atmosphere and bowls starting at just $8-$13. Noodles are house-made, using a noodle-maker imported from Japan. The shop also features old school, loud 90s hip hop music, late night hours and a focus on eating the ramen furiously. We chose the name Furious Spoon to educate guests culturally on the proper way to eat ramen – “furiously.” Guests are encouraged to “slurp” their ramen. The slurping cools down the ramen as you eat it, and the speed ensures that the noodles and other ingredients do not overcook in the steaming hot broth. Learn more at www.furiousramen.com
The menu features five different types of ramen available from $8 - $13. Customers can choose from Vegetable, Chicken Shio, Shoyu, Tsukemen and Furious bowls. Sides include pickled vegetables, rice bowls, and more. The chef will also rotate seasonal varieties of ramen. Furious Spoon offers a selection of Japanese beer and sake, craft cocktails, frozen drinks and sodas.
